Fayetteville Street 1923


Sitting in the mechanic’s waiting room this morning, I scribbled the above from an old (obviously) photo on the wall, mostly obscured by reflection from overhead fluorescent lighting.

Amazing how congested with cars these downtown streets were in 1917 and 1923. This view is looking north towards the capitol building.  Now I know where north is.

Good to know.
