This afternoon, I taught a watercolor workshop for octogenarians, most of whom were on walkers, with a cane or in a wheelchair. Doing demos for all to see was a challenge.
I made the above with my back to the students, my arms stretched up above my head, holding the paper with a backing board in left and the loaded brush in right.
For a second, I felt like Mason Ruffner playing lead guitar for his band, The Blues Rockers, while holding his Fender upside down behind his head.
And then I felt like the youngster in the room.
